The Kepler curve, the parabolic flight, the “hill” are all synonymous with the same known phenomenon. The airplane of the strengthened design during the horizontal flight starts lifting at an angle of 45 degrees. For some time, an overload of 1.8 g is created, but then the pilot removes the thrust and aligns the plane – the one by inertia describes the arc and begins to fall, to dive down. In a short space, 20-30 seconds, while the device is at the top, it is in a state of weightlessness or microgravity.
What can you do in such a short time? Firstly, all experiments are timed in seconds and implemented strictly on schedule. Secondly, the aircraft does not one, but a series of parabolas, up to fifty, so that the total time of stay in zero gravity reaches a quarter of an hour. Thirdly, for acquaintance with new sensations and habituation to them, the human body is more than enough. Even a bit too much for beginners.
Access to flights in weightlessness is allowed for almost everyone, except for medical indicators. Plus, you need to get to the US or Russian center where such services are provided, and pay for them, which is not cheap. But the impressions are worth it, say the newly-made “cosmonauts”.
